A catalog bearing is engineered to do one thing well: fit as many machines as possible. That's sound engineering, but it's the wrong intent for the power end of a reciprocating mud pump.
DeepRun starts from a different premise: every bearing is built for one machine, one position, one duty. Specified for that exact job from the start, qualified to our own standard, and backed by decades of American Mud Pumps® designing, building, and overhauling reciprocating mud pumps.
The result is a bearing system engineered position by position, not a generic product forced to fit.

Ride on the crankshaft eccentric and take the fully reversing load on every stroke — the hardest fatigue duty in the pump. Life is decided by steel cleanliness and heat treat, exactly what you can't see at receiving and where cheap bearings cut corners.
